- Pray for a Calvarian to serve as treasurer on the Mission Committee.
- Remember the search for a new Mission Director led by Pastor Edwin Lam. May the Lord lead us to the right candidate to join the church staff.

CALVARIANS IN TRAINING & ON THE FIELD
- Alex & Connie Ng bought a car, found a house to rent and are looking for a school for daughters Angeline & Faith; pray also for son Benjamin & daughter Daniella who remain in Singapore; pray for adjustment for the family.
- Roger & Siong-Mae Ong are happily settling down to their routine of study and family life in Vancouver. Pray as Roger seeks God’s will for a clear sense of calling and direction.
- Wong Yew Keong & Tomomi are preparing for their overseas posting with a global mission organization to Japan next year. Pray the Lord supply all their needs so they may complete their studies & training successfully.

NON-CALVARIAN PARTNERS
- Continue to uphold A & R as they seek for ways to study the Bible and upgrade ministry skills, train native workers and provide for family 7 ministry. A needs medical treatment for a growth on the neck. Pray for the national church to grow and mature so that more will become disciples and disciplers for Christ.
- Pray for our Myanmar national workers P & M that they will be safe as they are overwhelmed by cries for help from the recent cyclone disaster. May God grant them wisdom and strength as they rally helpers to meet needs. A team of 65 is due for discipleship training despite tight government restrictions on the church. May the training give national Christians courage to stay true and faithful, confidence in sharing their faith, and willingness to lead the national churches.
- Nico Nagi in Thailand needs a medical checkup, a visa to remain in Thailand, physical & financial resources to carry on ministry there, and wisdom to complete his native language study.
- Convention missionaries Gerald & Esther Lim are headed for a two-month mission training course in Malaysia. May they learn all they can and make new friends & colleagues who will network with them on the field.
- Yvonne See is experiencing high white blood cell count & a high cancer marker count even though she has undergone the third chemotherapy. Yvonne wants to be healed so she may return to her East Asia work. Pray for God’s healing & comfort, spiritual, emotional, physical strength and financial support to endure
the prolonged suffering as symptoms & side-effects of the harsh treatment take place. Pray that her work in East Asia will continue even though she is on home medical leave.
- Pray for our partners in China as they rush to meet the needs of the earthquake. May God grant the Chinese churches power to be a light to the nation during this dark period of loss and grief.

NEW DIRECTIONS
- Thank God for progress in the goal of Vision 2010 to adopt a new focus city.
- Pray for more to join the CQ Adoption Team (CQAT) as they form, for Lilian Lim to lead the team wisely, to excite and get all Calvarians to take part in the adoption. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to call more into the CQ work.
- Pray for a staff worker who is preparing for an over stint in the CQ adoption for a strong sense of call, faith & courage to obey, clear goals and objectives, and others to follow suit.

You may want to pray for each item according to the days of the week e.g. Item 1 on Monday, item 2 on Tuesday etc or one item a day throughout the year.
God is doing a new thing in our midst; we shall see His glory as great and exciting things unfold before our eyes this year. Therefore, “do not be anxious, but in everything make your requests known to God in prayer and petition with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which is beyond understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7
THANK YOU FOR BEING A VITAL PART OF CALVARIANS ON MISSION!
